Chief Executive Officer

Lynette M. Killen is CEO, Chandler Health Services, Inc., a Quaker senior campus located outside of Philadelphia. She has been CEO since August 2003. Chandler Hall is an affiliate of Kendal Corporation, an organization with thirteen affiliates that serves elders.   Lynette has an MSW, with a specialty in aging, from West Virginia University, an MBA in Health and Medical Services Administration from Widener University and a Masters in Aging Services from UMBC. Lynette is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator as well as a licensed Personal Care Administrator.  Most of her career has been in hospital organizations, in social work, information systems, or geriatric administration. She has also done consulting for nursing homes, senior centers, area agencies on aging, and a small foundation. She is a past Board President of Friends Services for the Aging, a Quaker membership organization of elder service providers and she is the current chair of the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council. Her primary volunteer activity is working with the homeless.

Maureen Casey

Chief Operating Officer

Maureen Casey oversees Personal Care, the Adult Day Center and the Lifelong Learning Program, the Wellness Center and Therapy Services and she also serves as the Nursing Home Administrator for Friends Nursing Home. Maureen has a Master’s Degree in Gerontology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. She has 25+ years of experience in healthcare including 13 years serving at Chandler Hall, originally from 1993 to 1999 in several capacities and returning in 2009 as the COO. Between 1999 and 2009, Maureen worked in acute care at a Philadelphia Teaching Hospital. Maureen enjoys partnering with the interdisciplinary team to provide high quality care to the residents, clients and families. She also enjoys spending time with her family, entertaining, sports and gardening.

Nanci Harris

Executive Assistant

Nanci Harris joined Chandler Hall in 1998 as Executive Assistant to the CEO.  She works closely with the Board of Directors and also supports other areas of Chandler Hall.   Nanci has experience in areas of administrative services, customer service, training and event planning.    She has served on the Board of Newtown Business Group and been a resident of Newtown for the past 30 years.    Nanci enjoys spending time with her two granddaughters, baking/cooking, art and all things technology!

Tim Murphy

Senior Director of Marketing and Admissions

Tim Murphy is the Senior Director of Marketing & Admissions.  Tim joined the Chandler Hall team in 2002, after successful careers in teaching and Real Estate in the Boston area.  Returning to his roots in the suburbs of Philly in order to assist an ailing family member, Tim has enjoyed showing compassion to those in need within the Senior realm.  Tim also enjoys life with his wife, two children and dog, Dixie!

Patty Bevlock

Senior Director of Hospice

Patty Bevlock oversees the Chandler Hall Hospice and Palliative Care Programs.  Patty is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator with over 30 years’ experience in end of life care.  After graduating from Drexel University,  where she obtained her RN, Patty worked in the acute care setting.  Loving geriatrics, she soon moved into Long Term Care.  When her aunt became sick, she was drawn to palliative care and hospice.  This has become her passion for the past 30 years.  Patty has worked with many hospice and palliative programs in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  She is a past board member for the New Jersey Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and a current member of the Hospice and Palliative Nurse’s Association.  She feels privileged to work with Chandler Hall and the surrounding community to further improve access to care of people with serious illness and help them to navigate the often difficult health care system.  In her spare time, Patty enjoys reading and getting lost on road trips with her husband.  GPS is the last ditch savior to get them home.

Karen Freedman

Director of Lifelong Learning and Adult Day Center

Karen Freedman came to Chandler Hall 25 years ago as a teacher in the Toddler classroom with a background in Early Childhood Education. She quickly realized that teaching young children in an environment that also supports and cares for adults was a wonderful addition to everyone’s life.  Moving to the Lifelong Learning team allowed Karen to continue her passion for Intergenerational programs and to lead a team of professional Program Specialists in addressing the emotional, spiritual, and recreational needs and interests of residents.

In her free time Karen enjoys reading, sewing and spending fun times with her six children and seven grandchildren- yes; Intergenerational experiences are her passion!

Matthew Schwartz

Senior Director of Independent Living and Culinary

Matthew Schwartz has grown up in the local The Newtown area. As the Senior Director of Independent Living and Culinary Services he oversees The Residences at Llenroc, the Lofts and Cottages, the Purchasing Department, and the Culinary Services Department, with 8 kitchens. Matt brings 30 years of experience in long term care settings, with 24 of those years working at Chandler Hall.

Tony Pellitta

Tony Pellitta

Senior Director of Community Support Services

Tony Pellitta worked for Chandler Hall for 7 years from 1988 to 1995 in the Culinary, Maintenance, and Transportation Departments. During this time Tony went to school at CHI Institute to study HVAC systems and receive his Universal Certification. He went on to do contracted work for the next five years servicing and installing HVACs along with plumbing and sprinkler work. In 2000 Tony returned to Chandler Hall as a Maintenance Technician to fulfill his passion of serving seniors.
